In-Person and Virtual Remediation
Students are seen on a one-to-one basis. After an intake session, educational goals are established to meet the individual needs of the student based on a review of neuropsychological testing (if available), teacher/parent observation, and formal and informal assessment. Through the use of research-based teaching methods, skills are developed and strengthened. Diagnostic teaching and formal and informal assessments are used to monitor student progress and development. In-person and virtual sessions are available.
Educational Therapy is valuable for students struggling to meet their academic potential due to diagnosed or undiagnosed learning and processing challenges, such as dyslexia, auditory processing delay, language processing disorder (listening/speaking/reading/writing), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), executive function challenge, or dyscalculia (math).
